Cheesy Baked Hot Dogs! Take a perennial kid favourite—hot dogs—to the next level by adding cheese and baking them in the oven to crispy, gooey perfection. Some onions and relish help, too.
Cheesy Hot Dogs
2 tbs tomato sauce
8 extra-soft jumbo hot dog rolls, split
1/2 cup bread and butter cucumbers
60g baby rocket
100g potato crisps
2/3 cup tasty cheese, shredded
2 tbs mild American mustard
Preheat oven to 180°C. Place the hot dog rolls on an ovenproof tray and heat for 10 minutes or until heated through.
Meanwhile, cook frankfurts in boiling water for 5 minutes or until heated through.
Place hot dog rolls on a serving tray and fill each with a frankfurt and pickles. Drizzle with tomato sauce and mustard. Sprinkle over cheese and top with rocket. Serve with potato crisps.
